Indoor Air Quality

Dust, drafts, micro-organisms, temperature and humidity determine the quality of the indoor environment. Lighthouse provides equipment that is suitable for researching the composition of indoor and outdoor environment:

About dust concentration measurements:

Particulate matter consists of matter (PM10, particles <10 mm) floating in the air and that is hazardous to our health. Therefore, the European Union set standards for particulate matter. In the Netherlands, these standards are exceeded in certain places, so that measures are needed.

According to EU standards, the daily average concentration may not exceed 50g/m3 at more than 35 days per year. At most places this standard is met, but on busy streets, the standard is exceeded.

Together with standards and measurements for PM10, PM2.5 is increasingly looked at, because of this subclass is possibly the most damaging. The smaller the particle, the deeper they can penetrate the lungs. Official rules and policies can be found on Environment and EU.

Handheld 3016 IAQ

Ergonomically designed and lightweight, the LightHouse HANDHELD 3016 IAQ is the newest and most advanced Handheld particle counter on the market, besides counting the particles it has the ability to convert the matter to mass concentration in mg/m3, in order to get a better look at the particulate matter. Offering 6 channels of simultaneous particle counting, the HANDHELD 3016 IAQ displays both cumulative and differential counts.

Particle data, temperature, and relative humidity data is easily found on its 3.8 "(9.65 cm) touch screen.

A removable battery maximizes the HANDHELD's lifetime. Data is easily downloaded using the Lighthouse Data Transfer Software. The handheld will monitor particulate levels accurately and reliably, even in the "hard to reach" areas where two-handed operation is unsafe.
